Old Silver Bangle, known as one of the models typical of the Pashtuns’ tradition.
There are several variations with different detailing and styling which depend on their origin.
The embossed and punch decorations adorn the metal and the ending parts often represent two lion’s heads, handed down from Shiite craftsmanship and certainly prerogative of the leaders back in the ancient times. Over the years these heads transformed from lions to dragons and then, increasingly stylized, they became extremely meticulous and complex decorative designs.
