Bel Pendente di artigianato Turkmeno in Argento formato da un ovale in rilievo messo in risalto da un bordo di piccole palline, sempre in Argento, applicate tutt’attorno. Sulla parte superiore, oltre ad un motivo inciso a treccina, trovano posto otto piastrine in Vermeil a forma di fiore con una più grande nel centro. I Turkmeni, popolazione nomade di origine Turco-Mongola, abitavano la steppa nelle regioni ad est del Caspio, nel Turkmenistan e nel nord di Afghanistan ed Iran; al loro interno i gruppi predominanti, quali i Tekke, gli Ersari e gli Yomud, grazie alle loro peculiari caratteristiche, hanno influenzato in modo significativo la gioielleria popolare. Questo pendente è una delle espressioni dell’artigianato Tekke, tribù nomade turcomanna originaria di Turkmenistan ed Uzbekistan; i loro gioielli, oltre all’uso dell’Argento, sono conosciuti per le splendide decorazioni a Vermeil, la tecnica della doratura a caldo.

Beautiful Pendant of Turkmen handicraft in sterling Silver, formed by an embossed oval plate highlighted by a border made of small pellets, also in Silver, applied all around. On its upper part, in addition to an engraved plaited pattern, have been placed eight flower-shaped platelets in Vermeil with a larger one at the center. The Turkmen, nomads of Turkish-Mongolian origin, lived in the steppe regions east of the Caspian Sea, in Turkmenistan and both in northern Afghanistan and Iran. Inside the Turkmen people, the predominant groups – such as the Tekke, the Ersari and the Yomud – thanks to their peculiar characteristics, have significantly influenced the whole of the popular jewelry. This pendant is one of the expressions of the Tekke’s handicrafts, Turkoman nomadic tribe originally from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan; their jewelry is known for the predominant use of Silver and because of the beautiful decoration in Vermeil, the technique of the hot gliding.
