Anello afghano in argento, interessante per la decorazione: la forma quadrata lo rende particolarmente caratteristico, come anche la serie di piccoli turchesi applicati tutt’intorno. Al centro, una bella corniola, sempre di forma quadrangolare, dove troviamo incisa una figura di arciere.
Vista l’origine e la provenienza dell’anello, tale figura è ragionevole pensare si tratti di Alessandro Magno, Alessandro il Grande, personaggio epico al quale questi popoli sono molto legati.

Afghan silver Ring interesting for its decorations: the square shape makes it particularly distinctive, as well as the series of small turquoises applied all around. At the center a beautiful carnelian has been set, engraved with the figure of an archer.
Given the origins of the ring, it is reasonable to suppose that the archer himself is none other than Alexander the Great, epic character to whom these peoples are very fond of.
