E’ realizzato da un abile orafo italiano con incastonato un vecchio sigillo persiano in bellissima e luminosa corniola.
Il soggetto rappresentato è una figura zoomorfa, un’antilope.
Negli anelli appartenenti a tutta l’area dell’Asia centrale molto frequenti sono i sigilli, che potevano avere sia una funzione talismanica, protettiva, sia funzionale, utilizzati perciò dal proprietario con svariate intenzioni. È questo il caso delle iscrizioni, che servivano come frasi protettive e motti di famiglia, come anche per l’incisore orafo che in questo modo dimostrava la sua maestria.
