Bellissimo Anello in oro 18k di artigianato orafo Persiano tipico della tradizione locale, riproduzione fedele di modello risalente all’epoca dell’impero Selgiuchide, che ha dominato dal XI al XIII secolo l’area che si estende dall’Hindu Kush (catena montuosa tra Afghanistan e Pakistan) sino all’Anatolia orientale, comprendendo anche l’antica Persia.
La lavorazione della montatura mostra la maestria e la padronanza dell’orafo nell’utilizzare differenti tecniche, dall’intaglio allo sbalzo.
Nel castone un bellissimo sigillo in onice nero con figura presumibilmente di un guerriero.
Indossati da donne e uomini, questi ultimi li portano sopratutto con sigilli, gli anelli venivano regalati dai califfi ai loro dignitari ed alle concubine, ma anche scambiati all’interno delle famiglie come dono tra i diversi componenti.

Refined and stunning 18k gold Ring – Persian goldsmith – faithful reproduction of a model dating back to the era of the Seljuk empire, which dominated from the XI to the XIII century the area that extends from the Hindu Kush (mountain range between Afghanistan and Pakistan) until to Eastern Anatolia, also including ancient Persia.
The processing of the frame shows the skill and mastery of the goldsmith to use different techniques, from the notch to the cantilever.
The signet-seal is made of  black onyx and represent a figure supposedly of a warrior.
Worn by women and men, these last bring with them especially seals, rings were given away by the caliphs to their dignitaries and concubines, but also exchanged within the family as a gift to the different members.
Measures  stone quite oval shape 1.4 x 1.2 cm
